Works included the refurbishment of back-of-house facilities with new offices, first aid and customer communication area. Other improvements included new lighting, fans, cladding, painting and replacing roof sheeting above the outer concourse. The next phase of work involved replacing the station lifts that service platforms 1/2 and 3/4.
